The world as we knew it has been changing over the last few months. The museum, art and culture world as we knew it has seen some radical shifts. In the last few months we have seen some great examples bringing alive hastags like Culture in Quarantine and Museums From Home. At the same time museum folks have expressed reservation about the growing feeling that the constant demand for digital content is at times distracting and risks shifting the focus from the true purpose of museums.
In the growing cauldrown of opinions we find many voices. Some echo the need for cultural institutions to play a more salient role in times of such great human and medical crisis. Others feel the times necessitate a pause to enable greater reflection. It is against the backdrop of these crosswinds that Museum Culture Marketing took on hosting duties for the 2nd time on Museum Hour.
